Real estate is in Lauren Kuharske’s blood. Her father has been a prominent CCIM broker for over 40 years, specializing in selling and developing commercial property in Marion and Lake County, and her grandparents developed and built the distinguished and highly sought-after Park Maitland School in 1968. For Lauren, real estate is more than buying and selling homes, it's a hallmark of her legacy and a lifelong passion for helping clients embrace new opportunities.
A Central Florida native, one of Lauren’s earliest childhood memories is sitting on the floor of her home and listening to her father make phone calls and discuss projects with his clients. She also recalls tagging along and spending countless hours at his office. From then on, the fire of real estate was ignited within her, and Lauren has made it her goal to help her clients feel the same excitement, satisfaction, and pride that drives her each day. She is an expert of the region’s premier neighborhoods and knows how to establish and increase value for her clients, and her expertise extends beyond the local communities to the “Turnpike Corridor,” including Winter Garden, Windermere, Clermont, and Groveland. Thus, Lauren has a broader reach than most real estate agents, enabling her to command more listings and successfully procure the goals of the buyers and sellers she represents.
Lauren has been a licensed realtor since 2013. Prior to real estate, she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and International Business from Rollins College before going on to earn her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business. Upon graduation she served as an Associate Brand Manager for both Betty Crocker and Breyers Ice Cream Toppings, gaining incredible experience in brand awareness, product development, business development, and advertising, which translates into creative and effective marketing strategies for her clients. Lauren prides herself on her ability to educate every client she works with about the current housing market with statistics and reports, and analyzes the potential of each investment or sale. She takes a very hands-on approach with clients so that they understand the details processes from contracts, to finance documents, to negotiation. With this well-rounded expertise, she’s ready to help clients explore their options for a particular building, block, or neighborhood, from counties all across Florida.
A country girl at heart, Lauren is married to her husband Chris, who is a Lieutenant Firefighter/Paramedic for the Leesburg Fire Department. Together, they have two children, and as a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors on their cattle and agriculture ranch. As a true generational Floridian, Lauren has a special interest in the current landscape of citrus across the state, specifically how groves are being leveled for commercial and residential development. She is knowledgeable about future trends and makes a point to inform her clients about the ever-changing dynamics of the Florida market. Lauren loves everything about Florida; from its diversity, to its neighborhoods, to its natural beauty. As your agent, she will approach every transaction with enthusiasm, commitment, and exceptional service.
