Her innate ability to provide superior attention to detail and her won’t-stop-until-it’s-done work ethic ensures that every client receives exceptional, personalized service.
With several decades of experience in real estate, as a property owner, interior designer, and real estate agent, Doreen knows the industry. Although residing in Florida for a large portion of her life, she has bore witness to many markets throughout the country, having owned or leased 17 homes across four states. She was born and raised in Long Island, New York, then attended the Art Institute of Atlanta in Georgia, where she earned a degree in photography and advertising. Upon graduation, she moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, and worked at the local NBC affiliate WPTV television station as an in-studio camera operator, writer and producer. She won two Addy Awards for her work. Several years later, she met her husband Joe, who is a professional interior designer, and together they created Tile Walk, an upscale interior design business catering to clients throughout the Palm Beaches and Jupiter Island. From here, Doreen, Joe, and their three kids, briefly moved to Aiken, South Carolina, then to the Midwest, settling first in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and later in Indianapolis, Indiana. From 2008 to 2011, Doreen was a licensed real estate agent in Indianapolis, before becoming an executive assistant to one of the city’s top 20 real estate producers. In this role, she handled all aspects of the buying and selling transactions, including client relations, relocations, marketing, and website building. In 2014, Doreen and her husband moved to Orlando, Florida. After falling in love with the vibrant local communities and everything they had to offer, Doreen decided to become a real estate agent once more.
Doreen has an incredible understanding of what it means to find a client their perfect home. She is very aware of the range of emotions often felt during the buying, selling, and moving process, and she is careful to keep clients informed and in control the entire time. Every transaction from start to finish is executed to go as smoothly as possible, always with her clients’ best interests in mind. Her welcoming demeanor and genuine desire to help and empower others makes her an excellent real estate guide trusted by many happy clients. Her previous career in media and interior design gives her an edge when it comes to presenting homes for sale in their best possible light and helping clients envision a home’s potential.
When not meeting with clients, Doreen enjoys spending time with her family, including their dogs and volunteering with local non-profits benefiting children with learning disabilities. She is actively involved in The Dyslexia Foundation and the International Dyslexia Association (IDS). While in Indianapolis, Doreen served as the Director of Development at the Hutson School, an academy for children with learning disabilities, and she helped to raise awareness and throw large-scale fundraising events. Rooted in family, respect, and helping others, Doreen is a mother, wife, sister, daughter, grandmother and loyal friend who is prepared to support you through the exciting, and sometimes nerve-racking, buying or selling process.
