Barbara’s path to real estate is anything but traditional. After graduating from Lake Placid High School, she earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and went on to complete her Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. She then served 20 years in the United States military—eight years in the Air Force and twelve in the Army— attaining the rank of Colonel (O-6) in the U.S. Army. Throughout her distinguished career, Barbara specialized in resilience, operational psychology , high-risk training and assessment, developing a keen ability to understand people, navigate complexity, and make critical decisions under pressure.

That same expertise now defines her approach to real estate. Having personally completed more than 20 real estate transactions spanning residential, commercial, and investment properties, Barbara offers clients a seasoned investor’s perspective paired with a psychologist’s insight. She understands firsthand the complexities and emotional nuances of buying and selling and excels at identifying the subtle details that transform a house into the right home for her clients.
