Marilyn Majeau brings over 30 years of experience in real estate, prompt customer care, and a commitment to work hard, listen, and follow through. She provides high-quality service to build relationships with clients and more importantly, maintain those relationships by communicating openly.

A resident of Central Florida since 1990, Marilyn has lived and worked in many areas of Orange County. She obtained her Florida real estate license in 1991, after several years as a licensed real estate agent in Massachusetts, and she earned the Graduate, REALTOR^® Institute (GRI) designation in 1995. REALTORS^® with the GRI designation have in-depth training in legal and regulatory issues, technology, professional standards, and the sales process. Throughout her real estate career, Marilyn has been recognized for her advanced knowledge and sharp problem-solving skills. In 1998, she was recruited to manage the affordable lending program for the redevelopment of Orlando’s Villages of Southport. Able to close the project successfully in half the expected time, Marilyn was similarly recruited by SunTrust Mortgage to serve as the lead mortgage officer for Brevard County’s Viera community. In this role, she produced more than $30 million in closings while developing a comprehensive command of financing and the nuances of new home construction.

In 2008, Marilyn returned to Winter Park and worked with several Orange County commercial investors, acting as a liaison among owners, architects, contractors, government regulators, and specialized real estate attorneys to resolve zoning issues and upgrade buildings to new code compliance. Prior to becoming a realtor, Marilyn was the vice president of a bank, served as the director of investor relations and corporate marketing for the third largest stock-held thrift in Massachusetts, and sat on numerous community boards. She received her graduate banking degree from Brown University and today, she combines her education and experience to offer her clients and colleagues insight into the complexities of the real estate market. Clients appreciate her diligence, patience, and ability to listen, hear, and deliver on what they want.

Born and raised in Northampton, Massachusetts, Marilyn is one of five siblings who remains incredibly close to her brothers and sisters despite geographical distances. Now with five nephews, two nieces, and eleven great-nieces and -nephews, she enjoys getting together with her family several times throughout the year. Marilyn enjoys being active in community organizations and groups, having served as chairperson in the Winter Park Leadership Class of XVI.
